Product Manager
Location: Pune, India
Sokrati is looking for Product Managers who will be taking a holistically look at entire Sokrati infrastructure and its customer base; understanding the key gaps and opportunities that exist in the industry; do the feasibility study, market sizing & detailed functional requirements; creation of a product roadmap thereof and driving cross-functional teams towards execution against that product roadmap. A successful Product Manager will own the Product from idea inception to revenue generation - leveraging the Engineering, Client Management and Business development teams within Sokrati.
Responsibilities
- Industry insights to drive feature additions into Sokrati's enterprise & consumer facing platforms
- Drive launch of new product concepts after convincing the management with market analysis, possible partnerships evaluations & revenue forecasts
- Documenting detailed functional specifications with mock-ups & sketches of possible User Interface
- Interacting with Senior Management to showcase strategic advantage & revenue potential to Sokrati
- Analyzing, monitoring & being constantly updated on competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill key issues from complex problems
- Ability to interact with and influence senior management with strong product vision
- Detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite
- Must be able to demonstrate both a passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
- B.E./B.Tech is required. MBA from a leading institution strongly preferred
- 3+ years experience in technology product management preferred
- Software development experience is a plus
